About the Guatemala Yoga Teacher Training

Meet Your Kula Facilitators…

TOSHA KEMPER

Tosha is a Southern California native who has been with her mat for over 15 years. When Tosha began her own journey towards spiritual healing around four years ago, she was also teaching yoga at a substance recovery center, seeing yoga heal others helped heal her. Yoga brought Tosha into her body and taught her how to connect and relate to the world around her. Being in the mountains amongst the trees is where she feels closest to Great Mother Earth. Her journey has shown her that her Divine dharma is to work for Spirit, in whatever means it manifests.

Guest Teacher: ANKATI DAY

Ankati is a yoga teacher, sound healer, ecstatic dance DJ, and ceremonial facilitator who has been a student of yoga since she was 19. She believes that embodied presence is the doorway to healing, joy, and freedom, and that immersing ourselves in intentional practice and community is the nectar our souls crave. After mostly focusing on the Asana practice that helped her heal her relationship with her body, Ankati connected with the path of Shamanism and a deeper, earth-centric spiritual path when she lived in intentional community in Costa Rica for two years. She has been devoted to practicing and sharing the profound wisdom of this path since.

About Casa Floresta

Casa Floresta was designed by Kula co-Founder Hayley Saraswati, who also created and Founded The Yoga Forest in 2013. Hayley had a dream of finding a beautiful lake property to bring the offerings of Forest Path, Sound Ceremony and Kula Collective together outside of the noise of the local villages, and in letting go of her beloved Yoga Forest, was able to create the inspiring Casa Floresta in 2022 with its gorgeous Lake Temple.

Casa Floresta is a little piece of lakefront heaven just between San Marcos la Laguna and Tzununá, in a majestic quiet cove, where you will find peace and tranquility in luxurious accommodations, incredible lake and volcano views, and a beautiful Temple conducive for retreats and trainings. Collaborating with the neighboring property of Casa Colibri, where combined they can offer up to 11 bedrooms, two kitchens, two private docks, 6 paddleboards, 120 meters of lake frontage, full housekeeping service, and a private chef for catering.
